Dear Friends,
With help from hundreds of incredible people and the guidance of a dedicated Board of Trustees, we have built impressive progress since 2014, raising over $600,000 toward researching treatment of Adrenocortical Cancer. As you know, our main focus has been to support the work of Dr. Gary Hammer at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center and the work of Dr. Diane Reidy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, both of whom continue to make great strides in this effort.
We have something here that is already making a difference in patients’ lives and our momentum is continuing to accelerate. I truly believe that our new goal of $1million dollars for research is just a short reach away!
Our two main events, the summer golf outing and the fall holiday celebration, are the fundraising conerstones of The Drew O’Donoghue Fund. These events have been the keys to the remarkable achievements that we’ve collectively been able to make toward finding new treatments and, someday, a cure for ACC. We’re always looking forward to seeing our friends and volunteers at these events which have proven to be so moving and inspiring. We hope to see you at all our events this year, but if you can’t make it, please remember the fund throughout the year by visiting our website and please share the website link on to anyone who you think may be interested.

As noted, these annual events have been a great source of inspiration and strength. Yet, this past fall raised the bar as we were blessed to have Grace Dunn speak at the holiday event in NYC. I want to share a quick video of Grace along with Dr. Reidy that includes a poignant endcard note that reads, “Thank you to the Drew O’Donoghue Fund for providing seed funding for the clinical trial that saved Grace’s life.”
