January 5th, 2019:   DREW'S BIRTHDAY.

Today, Drew would've been 27 years old. As many of you know, Drew loved to dance. Seriously, he loved to dance. Drew took "having fun" as seriously as he would a final exam in Finance or Chinese. Dancing was a big part of this. When he danced, it was a sight to behold. We first noted this trait when Drew was about two years old at a family wedding. Of course, most children love to dance. Some grow out of it, some become professional dancers, and still others, though seemingly destined for Wall Street, somehow hold onto it with unbridled enthusiasm and great gusto. When Drew danced, he'd get this look on his face as if to say, "Yeah, I'm gonna dance…right now…please join me, if you like...but you better keep up." It was a delight to see how much fun he was having and it was kind of amazing to see just how focused he'd be. In conversation or debate, Drew relied on empirical facts to make his points; there was never any gray area…you knew where he stood on an issue. But, when he was dancing, there was no room for conversation…he'd be so locked into the music that you couldn't really talk to him, but you could be part of the experience with him.

In honor of Drew's birthday, we thought it would be great if all his friends and relatives might put on one of his favorite songs, like Earth Wind and Fire's "September," or Springsteen's "Glory Days," and, like Drew would, just dance.

Much love & thanks to you all, and our best wishes for a Happy New Year!
